Take a look at the 1st photo of the old Market Hall, Willow Street, Oswestry, Shropshire - an Empty Woolworths building with unfortunately not as much character like its predecessor, now stands in its place.
Why was this building demolished and replaced by the boring square structure which now remains?? From enquiries we have been unable to find out exactly why
If you can shed some light please let me know.
Also, you can see on the second photo, this is further up Willow Street on the same side, and is now Last Order, (prior to this it was the Butchers Arms)
How far back can you remember about this building?? what was it called when you drank in there?? who was the landlord/landlady??
It would be great to hear from anybody with more information.
